Storing lots of material. Does anyone have any ideas about ways to store their material?

once they arrive home with it? I have close to 300-400 different piles that I have collected over the last 10 tears. I am wanting to store it the way Joann's or Han Fabrick's does theirs, but have no idea how to suplement the boards. Next weekend, I am going through ALL scraps (especially the ones I have had for so long) and donating them to Goodwill. And I'm wanting some type of item (65" x 15") to roll the material around so that it would be stored somewhat just like the sewing stores have theirs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! :-)
