How do you heal a broken heart?

heres the story my fincee of 2 and a half years decides to leave.2weeks before he wanted to addopt my 14 yr old child.a week before he left he got down a one knee and asked me again to marry him.the day he left he was in a good mood he told me he loved me and would be back when he got done with things he had to do .like get oil changed in truck he didnt act like anything was wrong. he didnt come home that night.the next mornin he called and said he was comin to get his stuff he wasnt happy well 3 days later he come and got most of his stuff there is still a few things here.he is still the love of my life.it has been a week since he left.my daughter still calles him daddy.how and when will things get easier for me to go on without him
