Paintball Laser or retdot sight?

I have a tippmann 98 Platinum with ACT and i want to buy either a laser or red dot sight. My max budget is $45 and i play at a very dark indoor field (sgt splatters). Which is better and what are some good lasers/ red dot sights? Also any other recomended upgrades for my gun?
