Wii:Sims 2 castaway-How can I get my sim to craft since her music/entertaiment meter is extremely low?

While out in serach for the materials to make the leisure/musical instruments I let that meter get way too low. So now the sim is craving music but she won't craft. I have all the materials to craft and she refuses because she is bored. She will eat, pick up driftwood, etc...but refuses to craft. Please help
